Summer equals swimwear – what’s your lineup looking like?
Yeah, mine needs a little work, I haven’t seen a beach in years but all that is changing over these next few months. I’ve been self-caring it up; getting my fade to fit on, drinking lots of water and eating power salads. Ya girl is ready to get out and be seen y’all. Swim suits start getting worn Memorial Day weekend, so it’s time to stock up.
Creatives can get so wrapped up in our inner visions and dreams, that we forget to PLAY and EXPLORE places that will inspire our projects further. True story, I spent months being stuck in my business, mainly because I was forcing everything. I’ve learned to take baby steps with my brand and to allow it will evolve as I do. At this point in my life, the more I travel & engage in self-care, the more focused I become. So catch ya girl on someone’s beach this summer in something signature from the following brands.
To make this shopping process super simple – keep in mind your body type should be enhanced by your suit. There are literally styles for everyone.
Body Type To Bathing Suit
Smaller chest – Your bra size is below a C ladies, you should have fun shopping for suits in floral prints, with ruffles or embellishments, all will play up your decolletage.
Blessed with Chest- You’ve got the goods sis, just keep them supported in something simple. If you wanna go wild on top, do your thing, but for those trying to shy away from the spotlight – stay away from busy prints & ruffles. Bra style suits are also a good look for the girls.
Slim thick- You may carry some weight in your middle and are looking for a suit that slim. You have so many options to choose from – high-waist 2 pieces , strapless monokinis & ruching are a few to start with.

Pear Shaped– You have a smaller top half with curves in the hips & thigh area. Look for suits that balance the top and bottom half. Try a natural bottom or a fringe skirtish option if your going 2 piece, or keep it chic with a plunging neckline one piece.
